Telehealth

  • Medication abortion (an abortion with pills) is available by telehealth in Oregon. This means you can meet with a health care provider by video call who will prescribe and mail you abortion pills. For more information, go to abortionfinder.org or ineedana.com.

If you are under 15 years old

  • You have the right to get an abortion, but the abortion provider may tell you that you need permission from your parent or legal guardian. This is called parental consent.
  • If you cannot or do not want to involve a parent, there is no judicial bypass option in Oregon. But the abortion provider can decide not to involve your parent or guardian if:
    • it could put you at risk of physical or emotional abuse or neglect; or
    • it would not be in your best interest.
